Mr. Shmuel Ben-Tovim, Chairman of the Fintech Community of Israel, delivered his keynote speech “Fintech in Israel-- Opportunities and Threat,” shared the financial technology ecosystem and innovation, including the challenges from the global Covid towards Fin-Tech industry in Israel.
Mr. Ben-Tovim has precious experience in finance and fin-tech. He served as Minister for Economic Affairs for the Israeli Embassy in the UK, Assistant Director-General of the Bank Leumi Group, Chief Economic Adviser to the Minister of Industry, Trade & Tourism, and Israel’s Consul & Trade Commissioner to America.
His speech was welcomed by many of the attendees after he clearly explained how his organization helped support the technological transformation of such an ancient finance industry. He also expects to visit China and establish more cooperation with China in the fin-tech and finance industries. He believes that many excellent Israeli and Chinese Fin-tech companies could benefit from more communication and collaboration.
